Tina Villis, LCPC
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over ten years of experience in the mental health field. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from North Park University and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University. It is a privilege to meet individuals from all facets of life, to listen to their stories, and be present with them during their most challenging times. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and couples. I work with individuals who struggle with depression, relationship concerns, grief and loss, workplace stress, parenting, anger management, life transitions, and infertility.
My therapeutic style varies according to the unique needs of the person—many people thrive in a gentle, supportive relationship, while others prefer a more directive approach. My goal is to help you problem-solve and move toward self-improvement in a safe and nonjudgmental environment. The most rewarding moments for me occur when people discover new insights about themselves and are empowered to make positive and lasting changes.
