How can I feel better

At Olimene Counseling Services, we specialize in grief counseling for adults, teens and children. What we have learned in our work with grief is that although grief is the most painful emotion to experience, it can be transformative.  It is very difficult to reorganize your thoughts and feelings about the world around you when you are in the midst of grieving. The experience of grief can also vary widely depending on the age of the person grieving and the nature of the relationship. In addition to our work with adults, we provide grief counseling to children and teens who have suffered the loss of a family member or parent. We work with them at their own pace providing warmth, encouragement and support as they find their way following such significant change. Through effective grief counseling, adults, teens and children alike can work through these confusing and, at times, overwhelming emotions to adapt to the change in their environment and day to day life.
