Alicea Bailey, LCPC, CADC
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor earning both my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, from Benedictine University located in Lisle, IL. Upon graduating, I continued to take a few classes at College of DuPage to meet the requirements to become a Certified Addictions Counselor. I am trained in Domestic Violence and I am currently working towards becoming certified as a Trauma Focused CBT therapist. In addition, I’ve completed the Institute for Legal, Legislative and Policy Studies DASA DUI Service Provider Program.
I am empathic, compassionate and dedicated to assisting you with your individual needs by utilizing a non-judgmental, client centered approach.
My therapeutic orientation is directly tailored to your individualized needs. My goal is to assist you with alleviating distress. Working collaboratively with you to sort through and process your unique situation. With the purpose of enhancing your overall personal well-being; by fostering self-awareness to create a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
I have experience working closely with adolescents and adults; providing individual and family therapy. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, behavioral disorders, grief/loss, substance abuse, domestic violence, and trauma; utilizing various treatment approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
